FESTIVAL LAB is a project in three steps running one year: - Following a Europe-wide call, 20 participants will be chosen to take part in the project. - All selected participants will attend a five-day academy combining theoretical and practical work. - The participants will attend a minimum of five three-day workshops at the eight participating FIT festivals. Following the academy five selected participants will be offered a residency at one of the coordinating FIT Festivals, where they will further develop and realise their project. This project will then be presented as part of the hosting international festival. The travel and accommodation costs of the 20 selected participants of the academy and the workshops will be covered. With the support of the Ljubljana municipality and in the framework of Ljubljana-World Book Capital 2010, we are creating the first labyrinthine park, dedicated to walking, thinking and reading. 20.3.2010 | BETWEEN US in Zagreb Leja Jurišić and Teja Reba present their booming new show to the Croatian audience – on 23 March at the Test!0 festival. 10.3.2010 | EXODOS GETS SUPPORT FROM BRUSSELS On 8 March 2010, the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) published results of the application for the second part of its Culture programme intended to support cultural organisations operating with impact and recognition at the European level. CPPS reports (and congratulates) that it happened for the first time now that the support within its Culture programme was allocated to a Slovene festival. Beside the Slovene Mladinsko Theatre, which got the support in 2008 to become a Cultural Ambassador, Exodos is the second nominee from Slovenia which succeeded in getting the support meant for the ongoing functioning of established institutions operating at the European level. 8.2.2010 | Authorship and Copyright in Art Production A workshop held on 17 February and organised by Asociacija, Ljubljana network of independent art producers.
